Frequently asked questions
Do you offer group classes or just private restorative yoga sessions?
I offer both. Alongside private restorative yoga sessions (121), I run small group classes for up to three people – perfect for friends or family who want to practise together in a calm, supportive setting.
How long do restorative yoga sessions last?
Both private and small group restorative yoga sessions are available in two lengths: 60 minutes or 90 minutes. The longer option allows more time for check-in, practice, and gentle transition.
Are online restorative yoga sessions available?
Yes – I offer private restorative yoga sessions online for those who can’t attend in person in Leyland. Online participants will need basic props: a sturdy chair, pillows, blankets, and yoga blocks (or firm substitutes like thick books).
Where do in-person sessions take place?
In-person restorative yoga sessions are held in my dedicated space in Leyland, Lancashire. I can also travel within the wider Lancashire area for private or small group sessions – please ask for details on travel fees.
Can restorative yoga help with specific conditions?
Restorative yoga can support people navigating stress, burnout, sleep difficulties, and perimenopause/menopause symptoms, among other things. If you have a specific health condition or injury, please consult your healthcare provider first, and let me know so I can adapt the practice safely and appropriately.
Is restorative yoga suitable if I feel anxious or overwhelmed?
Yes. Restorative yoga is particularly supportive for those who feel wired, overstimulated, or unable to switch off. Sessions are guided gently, with an emphasis on safety and nervous system regulation.
How much do sessions cost?
Pricing varies depending on session type, length, and whether your restorative yoga session is in-person or online. Please get in touch for current rates and package options for regular bookings.
"Claire is a very knowledgeable, passionate and caring yoga teacher. It is very rare to find a yoga teacher that weaves the spiritual part of yoga with the emotional and physical. You find that in heaps in Claire's sessions. If you want to experience true, heart-centred yoga, I highly recommend you practicing with Claire."
